STATEMENT of PHILOSOPHY

The faculty of SNOW ROGERS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL does recognize and respect its' responsibility to the youth of this community school. The primary concern of this school is to prepare the student academically, socially, morally, emotionally, and physically, thereby preparing the student for life. Realizing this as an AWESOME, yet CHALLENGING, responsibility, the faculty strives to cooperate with home, church, and other institutions to better assure the total and complete education of each child.
In order to attain excellence in all aspects of student preparation, the faculty believes that the following philosophies must be applied:

1. the uniqueness of each child in respect to his own rate of growth and development;

2. different abilities for learning;

3. placement of each child in realistic, challenging, and rewarding learning situations; and

4. consideration of social, emotional, and physical needs.

The faculty strongly believes in striving collectively to educate the whole child to the utmost of his/her ability.
